Shawn has been juried in shows in Topeka and Omaha, and is a frequent exhibitor at many local and regional galleries. She received third place in the Fiber Art Festival in Albuquerque, NM. Her current work includes botanic printing and thread painting.

The Lincoln Quilt Guild has inspired local quilters to meet at the local quilt shop on Saturdays and the third Thursdays at the Methodist Church to share ideas and work on their projects. This group will exhibit their latest works for this event.
