The Lincoln Art Center will feature an exhibit of selected works by Matthew Miller, Hays, and Topeka artist, Vaughn Graber. The opening reception will be held at the Lincoln Art Center on Friday, May 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.. The exhibit will be on display through June 29, 2024.
Matt Miller graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art , with an emphasis painting, in 2013. He previously earned a B.A. in History of Art degree from the University of Kansas. In Miller’s work, reality and imagination intersect where human influence has encroached upon the plains and prairies of our Kansas landscape.
Vaughn Graber is from a family of wood masters passing down old-world quality workmanship. He is a member of the Kansas Woodturners, Flint Hills Woodturners, AAW, and the Topeka Sawdusters. He has shown at South Wind, Manhattan Art Center, and the Kansas Historical Society.
The artists will speak at 6:15 and visit with guests. Refreshments will be served.
