The Lincoln Art Center will feature an exhibit of selected works by Amy Warfield, Hays, KS. The opening reception will be held at the Lincoln Art Center on Friday, July 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and will run through August 31, 2024.
Amy Warfield graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Fine Art, and also holds an Associate of Art from Garden City Community College. Amy has exhibited through the state and has her work in private collections.
She is a visual artist working in Western Kansas with representative work in oil and watercolor of the people, atmosphere, and landscape of her region. Warfield says “An Ugly Place” is a meandering excursion of a landscape, climate, and people.
The artists will speak at 6:15 p.m. and visit with guests. Refreshments will be served.
